Days to Maturity: Annual
Description: Common German Chamomile is a lovely wildflower that boasts cute, tiny, daisy-like flowers, and a fruity, apple like fragrance. The flowers are about 3/4 of an inch, with lovely white petals that surround a bright yellow center. It's most commonly used to make a calming, aromatic tea that can make you feel relaxed, but it can also be used in cosmetic products. Plus, its leaves and flowers can also be dried and used as potpourri. They make lovely ground cover, or border plants, and grow to be about 2 ft. tall and 1 ft. wide. German Chamomile blooms from early summer to fall, adapts to different soils and environments, readily self sows itself, and is fairly easy to grow.
