Description: Oasis Chrysanthemum Greens, also known as shungiku in Japan, is a vigorous growing, cool season, annual heirloom.  This edible chrysanthemum green has small, aromatic, deeply serrated, dark green leaves that grow more vigorously and productively than other varieties.  It has an interesting, mild bitter flavor with a succulent texture that is great eaten raw or cooked in salads, hot pots, and fish dishes. Chrysanthemum greens are versatile and nutritious.  Plus it is easy to grow, with minimal maintenance and can also be grown for sprouts and baby greens too!  Cute orange and yellow daisy like flowers will appear on mature plants late in the season.  Be careful with this variety, as it can be invasive, and will easily self seed.  Germinates in 7-14 days.
